Every active adult 55+ community is slightly different regarding the choice of homes available (new vs resale, floorplans, size, price, features, etc) as well as the amenities offered by the community. Only a few have a recreation center, clubhouse, organized activities, etc. as those extra cost amenites are not in demand in this area. However, there are a few that do offer those amenities and as time goes by, more communities will do so as well.
